I travelled from Nassau Bahamas to Memorial Regional Hospital Hollywood Florida for total hip replacement surgery during February 2021 and was referred to Dr. Chan. After more than a year of pain I had my surgery and walked out of the hospital the same day. After three weeks I did not need a walker. I can sleep well now as my hip pain kept me awake most nights. Also I walked with a limp due to different length legs, Dr. Chan fixed that. I walk with no pain and I no longer limp. Dr. Chan is very professional, he explain what the surgery entails, he has "gifted hands" I have a small scar where the incision was made. I had the anterior approach surgery - cutting edge. Dr. Chan has proven to me that he is an expert in that surgery. It is without fear of contradiction that I recommend anyone requiring hip replacement surgery to visit Dr. Chan .
