I saw Dr Chan for a right hip replacement in August of 2025. I decided on Dr Chan after extensively researching hip surgeons, & I was impressed with his reviews, education, experience, specialization of hips ( & knees too ), that he is board certified & fellowship trained, that he uses the anterior approach, & that he is a Memorial Healthcare MD.
My surgery went great, & I am now 6 weeks post-surgery walking without assistance, & I am pain free in my hip with no restrictions. I still have a slight limp, but that is considered normal as I am still healing. Dr Chan is a very caring physician with a great bedside manner, & he was extremely comforting just prior to when I entered surgery as well as when he followed up with me while I was in recovery. I was also very satisfied with his office, as the wait time was minimal & everyone I encountered was very nice.
Dr Chan is a great physician & I would highly recommend Dr Chan to anyone who is looking for a preeminent hip surgeon in South Florida.
