First of all, I am 91-1/2 years old. I went to another orthopedic surgeon here in Hollywood for hip replacement surgery and he said he did not feel comfortable doing my surgery due to my age and condition (AFIB). He recommended I see Dr Chan. After reading some of Dr Chan's reviews and talking to many people, I realized he was the doctor for me.
I had to wait a long time for an appointment, but it was well worth the wait. Dr Chan said "Well you ARE 91 but a healthy 91. I knew I had the right doctor.
Everything went like clockwork. I went to Hollywood Memorial SOUTH on May22.at 5:30AM and went home at 11:45AM. The sweet nurse was there waiting for me. I didn't get her name but she was wonderful!! Dr Chan and the anesthesiologist came in and Spoke with me.. I don't remember anything until I was in my room after surgery. I have had excellent home care with my son and daughter-in-law. This is very important to have good healthcare at home.

I start physical therapy tomorrow for a couple of weeks and then my complete recovery is on the way.
I can't say enough good things about Dr Chan and his staff.
I Thank God, I found Dr. Chan to take care of my hip surgery. He is the best.. The Hospital was great and all the staff were great too. Thanks to all the people who prayed for me.
Praying all The people waiting for hip surgery have a great results I have had.
